The attraction started with a pretty lengthy journey through a forested area before coming across some of the sets from Dinotopia, a Disney-produced miniseries. It was interesting hearing the two interact while speaking two different languages, something the French parks do quite often. One cool aspect of the attraction was that it utilized two different celebrities to narrate the attraction, with Irène Jacob providing the French parts and Jeremy Irons, the English. In fact, that even came back to bite them when they had to reroute the roads multiple times over the years. I understand what they were going for, but it still seems like an odd move since tram tours take up a lot of space, so building roads through easy places to expand doesn’t make a ton of sense. Unlike Florida’s version that was designed as a two-hour experience to teach guests about every aspect of filmmaking, the Paris version was created as a more traditional 20-minute attraction that included some education on the filmmaking process but at its core was made to entertain not teach.Įven with the changes to the experience to make it less grand, they still billed it as the primary experience of the park, as seen by its placement in the middle of the park. As I detailed last week, when Hollywood Studios opened, they advertised the Studio Backlot Tour as a can’t miss, headliner attraction, so when its Parisian sister park opened, they tried the same tactic with Studio Tram Tour: Behind the Magic. Speaking of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you are probably aware of how much of an influence it had on Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris, especially when the Parisian park opened on March 16, 2002. Combining the foundation with the nation’s most popular sport must have made for an amazing experience for these kids.Īdditionally, Mahomes, and hopefully the kids, got a chance to ride Rise of the Resistance, Hollywood Studios’ newest headliner attraction. On Sunday, Patrick Mahomes led the Kansas City Chiefs to their first Super Bowl victory in 50 years and upon winning the Super Bowl MVP award got to utter the famous line, “I’m going to Disney World!” This year, Disney really upped the ante by inviting over 15 Make-A-Wish children to also be a part of the celebration. Today, we’ll be finishing up our look at studio tours in the Disney and Universal parks by taking a trip across the Atlantic Ocean to Paris. initially I thought it was going to be a Disney-esc film but was pleasantly surprised which how the story unfolded.Īgain I have a trailer and a few images of Turok Son of Stone.
#DINOTOPIA MOVIE CARTOON YOUTUBE SERIES#
This TV animated film was by far the best show I watched out of the lot, based on an old comic book series of the same name, TSOS is nicely animated and is aimed at 14 – 16 year olds and can get quite bloody at times. The CG is quite old now but some of the are animated and designed well, the idea is similar in the way that people like and work with dinosaurs but thats were the similarities end because I want my idea to be a bit more gritty and in Dinotopia the people only seem to hang out the the herbivores and in my idea all dinosaurs will work with people.īelow is a trailer and a few images from the show. BOTH seasons…… meh.īelow is trailer for season 3 and a few images of the creatures from the 1st two seasons.Īnother TV show I looked at which is based on James Gurneys books. I’m not going to explain the story or characters in any detail what so ever (because it sucks), but what i did like about Primeval was the CG creatures which were modeled, textured and animated quite well, I mean they weren’t as good as I.L.M or companys like that but I feel that that they were worth having a look at because anything can trigger a good idea of inspiration no matter how bad the series is as a whole… I watched both seasons…. The show is what I like to call ITV’s answer to Dr.Who. I have been looking at a few dinosaur related TV shows unfortunately most of them were mind numbingly boring Primeval being one of them.
